I am a quantitative researcher at the Tavistock Institute, specialising in statistical analysis and enjoy designing studies and making sense of data to answer real-world questions. This is based on the core belief that evaluation and research can provide immense value and positive impact within society. I work on a variety of projects across many sectors such as children & young people, environment and social innovation.

Areas of expertise and interest

Having studied Psychology and Education Science my knowledge in a variety of quantitative research methods, qualitative methods and statistical techniques have developed my appreciation in the field of research. Before joining the Tavistock Institute I have worked in experimental psychology designing, conducting and analysing experiments and empirical studies. My key focus in the past has been in the areas of risky decision making and early childhood education. Since joining the Tavistock Institute, I have been introduced to many new sectors and research methods. With my background in Psychology, I particularly enjoy working on projects in the area of children and young people, families, mental health and wellbeing, social care as well as education and training. I found myself becoming increasingly interested in wider fields such as employment, environment and social innovation. I am also particularly interested in evaluation methodology and in the integration of quantitative and qualitative methods for example via innovative methods.

Areas of work

I mainly work on evaluation and research projects and undertake quantitative and qualitative work. Projects include EU-funded projects as well as UK wide and local projects from charities. In addition to methodological work – designing, undertaking, analysing and reporting - I project manage and contribute to other activities at the Institute. I am also a member of the quantitative research team. Current projects
